About Me
I have been birdwatching since 2000. Myfirst encounter of birds & birdwatching came at a early age of 13 when I saw a programme called Birding With Bill Oddie in 1997. Bill Oddie’s expertise made meinterested in birdwatching, but it wasn’t until 2000 when I got into it properly and has been doing it ever since. I has been lucky to have watched birds in America, France, the Outer Hebrides, England, Ireland, Cuba & St Kilda. In 2003, he volunteered at RSPB’s Loch Leven Nature Reserve. My proudest achievement was at the Reserve when a young boy came up to me and said “you’ve inspired me to taking up birding”. In 2010, I became a Wildlife Watch Group Leader until March of 2011. In 2012, I became an Events Research Assistant at the RSPB’s Scotland Headquarters: more volunteer work. My local patches are his local Park, Cammo Estate and Cramond Beach, and also dabbles in wildlife photography and filmmaking.
